

Please Note:
As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.




Gale force winds made any method difficult on this latest open. Twenty five anglers turned out for the match fished on the chalet bank on the Specimen lake.
Winner on the day was Rob Cooksey (Maver) who drew peg 70 and opted for method feeder fished short. He put 111-10-00 on the scales of prime carp and bream.
Second on the day was Brian Jones (Maver) who drew peg 58. Again, fishing method feeder with pellet and corn hook baits, "Shunter" put 105-05-00 of carp and bream on the scales.
Third placed Grant Albutt (Garbolino) fished a superb match finding quality bream at just 6m and also on method and pellet. Grant went on to weigh a superb 93-07-00 which was made up of an all bream catch.
