Andy Kinder (Maver / Marukyu) is really making his mark at Larford and letting his method feeder tactics do the talking. Andy drew peg 18 on the Burr and fished method feeder short but wasn't really going anywhere until he spotted a mass of fish feeding on his inside line late in the match.
Presenting two worms on the pole down the margin, Andy landed seven carp (with individual's up to approx. 25lbs) for a match winning 150-09-00.
A close second went to Preston rod, Neil McKinnen who drew peg 15 on the Burr. Neil fished 13m pole to depth landing a fine bag of carp and bream for 148-05-00.
Third placed Les Thompson (Fox Match) couldn't find the carp from peg 12 and ended up fishing at just 4m on meat and pole where he found bream really wanting to have a go. At 4m Les had a bite a chuck from bream weighing a superb bag of 111-00-00 and not a carp amongst them. Now that's good fishing!
