Please Note:
As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.
Eighteen anglers turned out for this latest open so all the Burr bank pegs were used.
Winner on the day John Cattermole (Maver) who drew peg 21. On a difficult day, John caught on method feeder for a total of 72-01-00 of skimmers and carp.
Second on the day was Colin Woodward (Smithy's) who drew peg 24 and caught bream and carp to method feeder and dead maggots for a total weight of 52-06-00.
Third placed Brian Jones (Maver) drew peg 28 and fished pellet feeder for a weight of 39-08-00.
