Please Note:
As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.
Anglers mainly down to fish the August festival took their chances on the chalet bank for this latest open match.
Twenty one anglers participated with James Dent (MAP Cleveland) coming out on top with 131-15-00 of carp and bream from peg 56 on the chalet bank.
Second placed Joe McMainn (Maver Avon) drew peg 22 on the burr landing good carp and bream for a total weight of 84-14-00.
Third placed Andy Leathers fished on peg 50 again contacting with good bream and carp for 82-05-00.
Fourth placed Adam Wakelin (Preston) weighed in 81-05-00 from peg 30.
