Please Note:
As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.

Freezing cold conditions made for a difficult match with only skimmers prepared to have a go.
Winner on the day was Chris Shepherd, who found bream feeding at 13m to pole and soft pellet for a winning bag of 28-07-00 and a place in the May final from peg 29 on the burr.
Second on the day, and very unlucky not to qualify, was Maver's Ray Lamb. Pegged just down from the winner on peg 27, Ray also found bream at 13m to pellet weighing 27-14-00 - one fish short of a qualification place.
Third on the match was Dave Powell who drew peg 63 on the chalet bank landing bream and carp to meat on the feeder. Dave finished the day with 26-13-00.
Fourth placed Steve Mayo (Maver) drew peg 17 on the burr landing 25-01-00 of bream to a ground bait feeder fished at 30m.
