

Please Note:
As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.




A good turn-out saw 28 anglers attend Sunday's qualifier on the Specimen lake.
Winner on the day, and booking his place in the May final, was Maver Midlands angler Martyn Leck. Martyn drew peg 52 and produced a fine display of pole fishing finishing the day with 121-07-00 of carp and skimmer bream all caught on sweetcorn at 11m.
Paul Cook (Mark's Tackle) finished runner-up on peg 30 weighing 47-11-00 of skimmer's all caught on pole and pellet at 13m.
Third on the day was Anthony Perkins (Wales). Anthony drew peg 3 and finishing the day with 42-05-00.
