As from January 1st 2009, the use of a catapult for feeding groundbait is no longer allowed on any of the 3 lakes.
Catapults may be used for loose feeding of maggots and casters, pellets, corn, etc.
The use of a big waggler is still allowed but feeding of ground bait must be by hand only.
PVA pellet tea bags are also prohibited.




Eleven anglers attended this latest midweek open on the grass bank of the Match lake.
Winner on the day was Adam Sharman (Maver), who drew peg 10. Fishing pole and sweetcorn at 11m, Adam took quality F1 hybrids and carp to weigh in a match-winning 80-10-00, beating the rest of the field by a comfortable margin.
Second placed James Taylor finished with 44-08-00 from peg 20 alternating between maggot and casters at 8m out.
Mark Holtham rounded off the frame with a fine bag of silver fish caught at 8m on maggot and caster.
