An impressive 91 anglers enjoyed superb fishing over this popular 2 day event held at Larford Lakes.

With a strong entry of both qualifier and invited anglers, sport was fast and furious on both the match and specimen lakes with a total weight of 3,752 kilos (8,256lb) brought to the scales.
Overall winner was Simon Gould who amassed a total weight of 123.040 kilos (270lbs) winning his section on both the specimen and match lakes. Simon fished the big waggler on day 1 launching ground bait at distance and fishing maggot hook bait to land carp to 15lbs from Peg 50 on the specimen lake.
Simons draw on day 2 placed him on the end of the Island on the match lake (Peg 26) and a short cast tight to the island with a small in line method feeder soon had the lakes F1's and bigger carp in a feeding frenzy. Simons weight on day 2 was an incredible 74.160 kilos (163lbs) securing his second section win.
Second overall was Will Raison with a powerful performance from both lakes and a maximum point's score with 2 section wins. The England international star weighing 37.500 kilos (83lb) from the match lake (Peg 70) alternating between pole and pellet and method feeder.
Day 2 placed Will on a fancied Peg 12 on the specimen lake where long range big waggler with ground bait from the catapult placed him well clear of the field with a total weight of 59.010 kilos (130lb) of carp to 15lbs.
Third overall was local hero Kieron Rich again with a perfect score winning both the match and specimen lake sections. Day 1 Kieron scored a total weight of 43.900 kilos (96lbs) from Peg 11 on the specimen lake and a further 38.960 (85lbs) from Peg 68 on the match lake.
